Kawanoe Fureai Park

About this spot

An air-filled play structure shaped like a white mountain, located inside Kawanoe Fureai Park. It can be used from 9:00 to 17:00, and use may be restricted in rain and similar conditions. Around it spreads a lawn area with a 100 m loop, where you can run around or lie down as you please. There is also toddler play equipment such as a sandpit, a seesaw, a slide and a tunnel, so siblings of different ages can each find their own way to play. Getting some exercise in before playing at the fountain makes the coolness of the water feel even better.

「川之江ふれあいパーク噴水」は、四国中央市川之江町の川之江ふれあい交流センター内にある無料の水遊びスポットです。様々なパターンで水が飛び出す仕掛けになっていて、次にどこから噴き上がるかを待ち構える時間そのものが遊びになります。プールのように深さがないので、小さな子どもでも自分の足で立って遊べるのが安心なところ。すぐそばに足洗い場があり、遊んだあとに砂や汚れを落としてから帰れます。ふわふわドームや砂場、幼児向け遊具、1周100mの芝生広場が同じ園内にそろっているので、水と陸を行き来しながら過ごせます。2026年の開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間の開放となるため、出発前に四国中央市の公式案内で必ず確認してください。

Tips

噴水の周りは水で濡れて滑りやすいので、脱げにくいサンダルかマリンシューズを履かせ、走り回りすぎないよう声をかけてください。更衣室やシャワーがある施設ではないため、濡れてもよい服で行くか、車内で着替えられる準備をしておくと安心です。小さな子は水遊び用おむつを着用しましょう。園内の施設は17:00までなので、16:45には水遊びを切り上げて足洗い場と着替えの時間を取ってください。雨天時などは利用が制限されることがあり、雷が鳴ったらすぐに切り上げましょう。ゴミは持ち帰りが基本です。

Tips

In midsummer the surface of the dome can get hot, so touch it to check the temperature before letting children play. Use may be restricted in rain or just after rain, so follow the notices posted on the day. Since shoes come off to play, footwear that is easy to slip on and off keeps things smooth. A parent-and-child restroom and a bicycle park are available, so you can also come by bicycle.
