Sori Suberi Hill (sledding hill)

About this spot

This sledding slope has become the signature attraction of Shimin Shiki no Mori. Climbing the hill and sliding straight down is simple, but children find it fun enough to repeat over and over. From the top of the hill you can survey the whole park, which is also handy for checking where Rainbow Falls and the Great Lawn Plaza are for later. A management building stands alongside, and the nursing room is here too. Getting some exercise in before the water play means you can face the water at a calmer pace in the afternoon.

小牧市の市民四季の森にある無料の水遊び場、「小牧市総合公園市民四季の森虹の滝」です。ミストの噴出期間は3月1日(日)から10月31日(土)までで、6月から8月は9:00〜19:00と夜まで長く楽しめます。11月ごろから2月ごろまでは噴出を休止するので、水遊び目当てなら春から秋に訪れましょう。細かな霧が降りそそぐ中を走り抜ける遊びは、深い水が苦手な小さな子でも楽しみやすいのが魅力です。園内にはトイレが7か所あり、うち6か所は車椅子対応でベビーシートを備え、授乳室もソリスベリ管理棟内に用意されています。料金は無料なので、夕方に少しだけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。

Tips

5月の第2・第4木曜と、6月から9月の毎週木曜は清掃日で水に入れません。第4木曜は休園日でもあるため、木曜は避けて計画するのが確実です。6月から8月は19:00まで噴出しているので、日差しを避けて夕方から遊ぶ計画も立てられます。足元が滑りやすいのでマリンシューズがあると安心。水遊び後は体をよく流し、木陰で休憩をはさみながら遊ぶと熱中症を防げます。

Tips

Follow the park's guidance for sled rentals and rules of use. You will be climbing the slope a lot, so easy-to-move-in clothing and comfortable shoes are best. There is little to block the sun, so be sure to bring hats and drinks. The fourth Thursday is a closed day, so watch your dates.
