This is a plaza inside Shiroyama Park (城山公園) equipped with large play structures. Slides and combination equipment stand side by side, an irresistible place for children who want to move their bodies to the fullest. Lawn spreads all around, so the layout is also just right for laying down a picnic sheet and eating a packed lunch. The stream is only a short walk away, so you can carry the flow of play into the afternoon without a break. Since eating and then immediately being active is hard on the body, moving gently on the play equipment for a while before getting into the water is just the right pace.

尾張旭市の城山公園にある無料の水遊び場、「城山公園せせらぎ」です。公式の表記は「4月下旬から10月上旬まで」で、例年の運用にならえば2026年は4月25日(土)から10月5日(月)まで、10:00〜17:00に水が流れます。場所は園内の長池の北東側で、浅い流れなので歩いて渡ったり座り込んだりと、小さな子でも自分のペースで遊べます。同じ園内にスカイワードあさひとスカイパークがあるため、水に飽きたら塔や遊具へ、涼しくなったらまた水へと行き来できるのがこの公園の強み。料金は無料なので、夕方に少しだけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。

Tips

諸般の事情により予告なく停止することがあるため、出発前に尾張旭市の公式サイトで当日の稼働を確認してください。石の上は滑りやすいので、足の裏を守れるマリンシューズがあると安心です。17:00に水が止まるので、片付けと着替えの時間を逆算して16時半ごろには上がると落ち着いて帰れます。水遊び後は体をよく流し、木陰で休憩をはさみながら遊ぶと熱中症を防げます。

Tips

On summer days the metal parts of the equipment can get hot, so check the temperature before touching. Some areas have little shade, so a hat and drinks are essential. Taking your trash home is the basic rule. Putting swimsuits on under clothes in advance makes moving to the stream smooth.
