About this spot

This city-run green park still holds a bamboo grove, and takes its name from the many sparrows that once roosted in the bamboo thickets. Inside, an old farmhouse relocated from within Meguro City (目黒区) has been preserved, letting you glimpse old ways of life with an earthen floor and a sunken hearth. The air beneath the bamboo stays cool even in high summer, which makes it a welcome spot for lunch on a hot day. The little path threading between the bamboo is short, but walking it feels like being deep in a forest. Konabeno Park is within walking distance.

こなべ野公園じゃぶじゃぶ池・流れは、目黒区のこなべ野公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年の稼働期間は7/1(水)から9/30(水)まで、時間は9:00〜16:30で、区の公式表記は「7月第1週から9月末頃まで」となっています。水は塩素等で消毒管理されているので、安心して足を入れられます。流れは浅く造られており、歩きはじめの小さな子どもでも自分の足で進めるので、親も見守りやすい構造です。住宅街の中にある地域の遊び場なので、大きなプールのような行列や混雑がないのも家族連れには気楽なところです。料金は無料で、天気を見て思い立った日に出かけられます。

Tips

月1回ほど点検日があり、その日は利用できません。点検日時は現地に掲示されるので、出発前に区の公式ページで開設状況を確認してください。飲食物の持込とペットの入水はできません。水遊び用サンダルの着用が推奨されているので、かかとの留まるタイプを用意しましょう。着替えの場所は限られるため、水着を下に着ていくと現地での支度が短く済みます。

Tips

Check the ward's information for the farmhouse's opening hours and closed days. The bamboo path can be slippery after rain, so watch your footing. Rubbish must be taken home as a rule, so bring a bag. Avoid entering the water right after eating; resting for 20 to 30 minutes before changing is safer.
