This art museum is inside Tokyo Opera City, a complex directly connected to Hatsudai Station (初台駅). It holds special exhibitions centered on contemporary art, and a notable feature is how often you encounter displays that children can readily grasp, not only paintings but photography, three-dimensional works and video. A high-ceilinged open galleria runs through the building, making it a space that feels good simply to walk through. Restaurants are also on site, so being able to finish lunch right there is a real help for families. Hatagaya Shindo Park is a short walk away.

幡ヶ谷新道公園親水施設（水遊び場）は、渋谷区の幡ヶ谷新道公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年の開設期間は7/1(水)から9/24(木)まで、時間は9:00〜17:00で、夕方まで開いているので一日の組み立てがしやすいのが特徴です。水深は浅く造られているため、歩きはじめの小さな子どもでも自分の足で歩いて遊べます。京王線の幡ヶ谷駅や初台駅から歩ける住宅街の中にあり、電車だけで通えるのも都心らしい便利さです。料金は無料なので、天気を見て気軽に出かけられます。大きなプールのような行列がないぶん、親子でのんびり過ごせる遊び場です。

Tips

清掃日にあたる毎週水曜日の午後は利用できません。午後を予定している日が水曜にあたる場合は日程を変えるか、渋谷区の公式ページで状況を確認してください。気象状況によって開設が変更になることもあります。飲食物の持込とペットの入水はできません。着替えの場所は限られるため、水着を下に着ていくと現地での支度が短く済みます。

Tips

Check the official website in advance for the exhibition content, dates, admission fee and closed days. Before entering, tell children to refrain from loud voices and running in the exhibition rooms. You can go around the building with a stroller, but follow the guidance at the entrance when it is crowded. The benches in the galleria are easy to use for a rest and handy for sorting out your belongings.
