The Unoki Matsuyama Park Water Play Area is a free water play spot in Unoki Matsuyama Park in Ota City. In 2026 it is scheduled to open from Thu, April 30 until around Wed, September 30, from 10:00 to 16:00; the closing date is not announced on the city official site, so late September is the usual guide. The facility takes the form of flowing water, and because it is shallow, even small children who have just started walking can make their way on their own feet. The water is filtered and disinfected, but it is not drinkable. The park sits on high ground in a residential area and is surrounded by trees, so it helps that you can rest in the shade as soon as you tire of playing. It is within walking distance of Unoki Station on the Tokyu Tamagawa Line, so you can get there by train alone.

Tips

It is closed on the regular cleaning days of August 3 and August 21. The closing date is not announced by the ward, so if you are visiting in September, check the opening status on the Ota City official page before you set out. The water is not drinkable, so be sure to bring your own drinks. In spring and early summer the water is still cold, so having something to slip on right after getting out keeps you from getting chilled. Changing space is limited, so wearing swimwear underneath shortens the preparation.
