About this spot

A station building connected directly to JR Kamata Station, with restaurants and a food floor. You can enter from the station without getting wet in the rain, which is reassuring when the weather turns and you want to keep your plans. Many restaurants have children's menus, making it easy for families to go in. You could also buy a bento on the food floor and eat it in the park. Kamata 1-chome Park is within walking distance, so you can head straight to the water play after your meal.

蒲田一丁目公園水遊び場（親水施設）は、大田区の蒲田一丁目公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年は4/30(木)から9/30(水)頃までの10:00〜16:00で開設される予定で、終了日は区の公式で公表されていないため例年9月末までというのが目安になります。施設は流れと池の両方があり、流れに沿って歩く遊び方と、池でしゃがんで水をすくう遊び方の二通りができます。歩きはじめの小さな子どもは池で、走り回れる年齢の子は流れでと、年齢に合わせて場所を選べるのが便利なところです。水はろ過・殺菌管理されていますが飲用はできません。JR蒲田駅から歩ける立地なので、電車だけで通えます。

Tips

定期清掃日の7/29・8/7・8/14・8/27は休止します。夏休みの時期に休止日が複数あるので、日程を決めるときは必ず確認してください。終了日は区の公式で公表されていないため、9月に訪ねる場合は大田区の公式ページで開設状況を確かめましょう。水は飲用できないので、飲み物は必ず持参してください。着替えの場所は限られるため、水着を下に着ていくと支度が短く済みます。

Tips

Restaurants get crowded at lunchtime, so arriving a little early shortens the wait. Check opening hours and closing days on the facility's official page. The layout is easy to move through with a stroller, but it is busy on holidays, so checking where the elevators are in advance keeps things smooth. On days when you are carrying a lot of water play gear, finding the coin lockers first lets you travel light.
