Tamagawa Rokugobashi Green Space (多摩川六郷橋緑地)

About this spot

A riverbed green space spreading along the left bank of the Tama River at the foot of Rokugo Bridge. Climb onto the levee and the view opens out, taking in the flow of the Tama River and the streets of Kawasaki on the far bank. There are sports grounds and broad grassy areas, with the openness to run about without bumping into anyone. The area under the bridge is shaded, so you can secure a resting spot even in midsummer. The wind crossing the water is far cooler than in town, making it a pleasant place to open a lunch box. Keihin Kamata Park is close enough to reach on foot.

京浜蒲田公園水遊び場（親水施設）は、大田区の京浜蒲田公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年は4/27(月)から9/30(水)頃までの10:00〜16:00で開設される予定で、終了日は区の公式で公表されていないため例年9月末までというのが目安になります。この施設は噴水の形式で、吹き上がる水に手を伸ばしたり、水の間を走り抜けたりする遊び方になります。深い水につかる場所ではないので、水が苦手な子どもでも参加しやすいのが特徴です。水はろ過・殺菌管理されていますが飲用はできません。京急蒲田駅から歩ける街なかにあり、電車だけで通えるのも便利なところです。

Tips

定期清掃日の8/7は休止します。終了日は区の公式で公表されていないので、9月に訪ねる場合は出発前に大田区の公式ページで開設状況を確認してください。水は飲用できないため、飲み物は必ず持参しましょう。噴水のまわりは地面がぬれて滑りやすくなるので、かかとの留まるサンダルを履かせ、走らないよう声をかけてください。着替えの場所は限られるため、水着を下に着ていくと支度が短く済みます。

Tips

The riverbed has little to block the sun, so hats and drinks are essential. The river water is not for water play, so tell children not to go near the water's edge. Access may be restricted when the water is high or after heavy rain. Take your rubbish home with you, so bring a bag; avoid entering the water right after eating, and resting for 20 to 30 minutes before going to change is safer.
