Next stop: Water play until evening at the outdoor pool in Karasu ParkAbout this spot
This is a prefectural children's facility for active play, located within Chubudai Sports Park (中部台運動公園) in Matsusaka City. Inside, there is a large net play structure, a ball play area, and a craft corner, so you can enjoy yourself regardless of the weather or temperature. There's also a dome-shaped planetarium, and gazing up at the summer night sky together as a family makes for a good break before the pool. Since it's the hottest time of day outside, the strategy of this course is to stay active here in the cool indoors and save your energy.
Tips
Admission and planetarium viewing fees may be charged separately, so check the current fees and showtimes at the reception desk. Check the official website in advance for closing days and opening hours. The surrounding Chubudai Sports Park has plenty of shade, and it's a short walk from the parking area to the facility.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour. It's efficient to time your arrival with the planetarium showtimes
