Karasu Pool (香良洲プール), the outdoor pool inside Karasu Park, opens only during the 2026 summer vacation period, from Tuesday, July 21 to Monday, August 31. Admission is free for children under elementary school age, 50 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and 200 yen for high school students and older, though the price doubles for visitors living outside Tsu City. Located within a park close to the sea, Karasu Pool is surrounded by pine woods, and the breeze that passes over the water's surface is one of its unique charms. It doesn't have flashy facilities like a large leisure pool, but that also means the crowd flow is relaxed, letting families with small children spend time calmly. As evening approaches, the sunlight softens and the water temperature becomes just right, making it the most pleasant time to swim.
