Oyabe City Pool is a summer-only outdoor pool in Oyabe City. In 2026 it operates from Monday, July 20 to Monday, August 31, open 10:00-17:00 on weekdays and 9:00-17:30 on weekends and holidays (closed August 15). It has three types of pools -- a 50m pool, a 25m pool, and a children's pool -- so everyone from serious swimmers to little ones still getting used to the water can find their own spot. The 50m pool is an unusually large size for a municipal pool, giving you the satisfying feeling of swimming long, straight laps. Admission is affordable -- 170 yen for adults, 90 yen for junior high school students, and 60 yen for elementary school students and under -- making it a great spot to return to again and again through summer vacation.

Tips

Groups of 30 or more get a 20% discount. Note that the pool is closed on August 15, so plan your schedule accordingly. Also check that opening hours differ between weekdays and weekends/holidays.
