Tamashima no Mori Swimming Pool is an outdoor pool in 'Tamashima no Mori,' an urban park in Kurashiki City, open in 2026 from Saturday, July 18 to Sunday, August 30. The 10-lane 50-meter pool is a proper full-size facility, spacious enough for both swim practice and play. A children's pool is also available, so it's reassuring even with little ones who are just starting out in the water. Admission is a ticket system at 160 yen for adults and 100 yen for high school students and under—a pool of this scale at this price is a major draw for families. Surrounded by the park's greenery, it's also nice to be able to rest in the shade after getting out of the water.

Make a habit of hydrating during the lifeguards' break times. The 50-meter pool has significant depth, so be sure to keep little ones in the children's pool.
