Monomiyama Pool (物見山プール) is a summer-only outdoor pool at Monomiyama Sports Park in Nomi City. It's typically open from July 20 to August 31, from 9:00am to 6:00pm. The main pool has 7 lanes measuring 25m by 15m, and the toddler pool measures 15m by 8m, so kids who want to swim and little ones who are mainly there to play in the water can both enjoy the same space. Because the opening hours run long, you can spend the morning elsewhere and still have plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed play session until evening. Surrounded by the greenery of the sports park, the light filtering through the trees is pleasant, giving it a calmer feel than a crowded large-scale leisure pool.

Shade may be limited in some areas, so it's a good idea to bring a rash guard, extra towels, and plenty to drink. The sports park is large, so plan for some distance between the parking lot and the pool.

Best time to visit

Entering in the early afternoon means the water has warmed up, and you can still enjoy a relaxed 3+ hours of play until evening.
