The Fukuoka City Jonan Citizens' Pool Outdoor Pool is the outdoor section of a citizens' pool in Jonan Ward, Fukuoka City. In 2026, it is open from July 18 to August 26. Outdoors you will find a children's pool just 0.3 to 0.4 meters deep and a large slide; with such shallow water, it is a place where small children who cannot yet swim can truly take center stage. Thanks to the easy-to-understand fun of the slide, even kids who are a little wary of water tend to get in naturally. Since the area is small enough for parents to watch over the whole space, it is also reassuring not to have to worry about losing sight of your child. Summer season rates for a 2-hour session are reasonable: free for infants, 110 yen for elementary and junior high school students, 160 yen for high school students, and 320 yen for adults.
