About this spot

A station on the Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden), and the starting point for exploring the Hase area, including the Great Buddha of Kamakura, Hase-dera Temple, and Kosoku-ji Temple. The retro train cars and small station building put you in a Kamakura mood the moment you arrive. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station to the Great Buddha, and a 6-minute walk to Kosoku-ji Temple.

Tips

Hase gets crowded during the autumn leaf season, so it is best to start moving early in the morning.
