About this spot

This Tendai-sect temple stands along the Hinata Valley, its three-story pagoda rising memorably among the mountains. Known during the Edo period as a temple offering sanctuary, it can be visited in the quiet air of a mountain village. It lies in the same Hinata valley as Hinata Yakushi, making the two easy to visit together.

Tips

Walk from the Hinata Yakushi bus stop toward the back of the valley. As it's a quiet mountain-village temple, please visit calmly and respectfully.
