About this spot

A large ward park right by Asano Station on the Tsurumi Line, with both a lawn plaza and a play area. It has slides, swings, seesaws, and other play equipment, letting kids burn off plenty of energy while waiting for the Lantern Festa to light up. Admission is free.

Tips

In winter it gets cold quickly once the sun sets. If your kids work up a sweat playing, have them put on a jacket to adjust their body temperature before the lighting.
