About this spot

A station on the JR Chuo Main Line, and the gateway to the Fujino area. True to Fujino's reputation as a Town of Forests, Lakes, and Art, outdoor art pieces are scattered on the hillsides around the station. To reach the farms in the Nagura area (名倉地区), cross the bridge over the Sagami River (相模川). Pick up drinks and other supplies in front of the station before setting out.

Tips

A car is convenient for reaching the Nagura area. If walking, the route continues over hilly terrain, so wear comfortable walking shoes.
