About this spot

This shopping street stretches west from Okurayama Station (大倉山駅), lined with white, Western-style buildings designed to match the architecture of Okurayama Memorial Hall (大倉山記念館) on the hill above. With many restaurants, bakeries, and independent shops, it's an enjoyable street just to walk along. It has a unique sister-street partnership with a street in Athens, Greece, so it's worth strolling slowly while taking photos of the streetscape.

Tips

Having lunch on this street before heading up the hill makes for easier movement. Getting food to go and eating it in Okurayama Park (大倉山公園) is also a pleasant option.
