About this spot

A calm, unassuming stretch of sand in Isshiki, Hayama. The gently sloping shore is perfect for a stroll, and it is a great spot for a morning with children -- hunting for seashells at the water's edge or simply gazing out at the sea. Outside the summer swimming season, it is much less crowded, making for a peaceful seaside walk.

Tips

If your kids will be playing in the sand, it helps to bring a towel and a change of clothes. Don't forget a jacket on days when the sea breeze is strong.
