Flow of the course

About this spot

About a 15-minute walk from Murodo Terminal, this is said to be the deepest volcanic lake in the Northern Japan Alps. You can stroll around while gazing at the lake’s surface, which reflects the Tateyama mountain range.

Tips

The promenade from Murodo Terminal is well-maintained, but since the elevation is 2,450m, it’s reassuring to bring warm clothing.
