Located in Fukaura Town, which was selected as the best place in Japan for stargazing in the 2000 National Continuous Starry Sky Observation, the facility turns off its large outdoor lights around 21:00, provides a star chart and an LED lantern in guest rooms, and offers a limited number of lie-down mats for rent.
