By day, stroll through Kyuka Park (九華公園), which retains the air of a castle town dating to the Edo period, and experience Kuwana's history at the Shichiri-no-Watashi Ferry Crossing Site (七里の渡し跡), a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, and the neighboring Sumiyoshi Shrine (住吉神社). In the afternoon, head along the Ibi River (揖斐川) while enjoying the food culture built around Kuwana's famous clams and the atmosphere of the local shopping street.
