2026 Ōkura Kaigan Beach Full-Day Course
From July 18 (Saturday) to August 30 (Sunday) 2026, featuring Ōkura Kaigan Beach open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, this full-day course lets you enjoy all of Akashi from morning onwards. In the morning, experience Japan Standard Time at Akashi City Museum of Science, then stroll through the greenery of Akashi Castle ruins in Akashi Park. At lunch, food-hop through the Uonozana Arcade sampling Akashi's distinctive flavors including takoyaki. The climax is the afternoon at Ōkura Kaigan Beach. Swimming is free, and the beach has changing rooms, showers, restrooms, a shop, first-aid station, and even a baby room—perfect for small children. Showers cost ¥100 per minute and lockers ¥300 per use, so you can enter the sea with minimal gear. Swimming hours are until 5:30 PM. Splash along the shoreline until evening and fully enjoy an Akashi summer. Bring your swimsuit and towel and head to Ōkura Kaigan Beach!
