You can climb the iconic Utsunomiya Tower for sweeping views of the Kanto Plain and Nikko Mountain Range, and enjoy plenty of attractions for children including the large Adventure U playground equipment and a miniature train running through the park. Perfect for plenty of outdoor fun first thing in the morning.
Tips
The park has many slopes and stairs, so a baby carrier is easier to navigate than a stroller. From the observation deck of Utsunomiya Tower, you can see the cityscape and Nikko Mountain Range all at once—children will be delighted.
Best time to visit
Allow 90 minutes. The playground is less crowded in the morning, making it comfortable.
