Leisurely Strolling Through a Flower Park on the Shores of Castle Swamp
About this spot
A historic flower park spreading along the shores of Castle Swamp. Typically from mid-April to early May, diverse varieties of azaleas paint the hillside in a spectacular display. Even outside the flowering season, the expansive lawns and pleasant waterside walking paths offer a perfect setting for parents and children to relax, enjoy watching waterside birds, or spread out a picnic.
Tips
During the azalea festival, there is an admission fee and parking gets congested, so arriving in the morning is recommended. The park paths are mostly paved and easy to navigate with a stroller.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour. The azaleas are at their best around Golden Week.
