Shout Your Love at a Spectacular Viewpoint in the Middle of Cabbage Fields
About this spot
A unique viewpoint known as the "sacred site for devoted husbands," distinctly characteristic of Tsumagoi. Cabbage fields—one of Japan's largest production areas—spread out 360 degrees, and it's customary to shout your feelings for someone special from the shouting platform at the hilltop. Summer is especially spectacular when the fields are blanketed in fresh green, making it a perfect rest stop along the Tsumagoi Panorama Line drive.
Tips
Highland winds are often strong, so bringing a light jacket is wise. There are no shops or restrooms, so plan accordingly beforehand. Afternoon light provides the best photography conditions.
