Designed by architect Hiroshi Hara, the corridor-style building surrounds a shallow pond, with the courtyard itself becoming a symbolic art space where sky and buildings reflect in the water surface. The museum features immersive contemporary artworks by domestic and international artists, with many photo-worthy displays. Special exhibitions, a café, and museum shop allow visitors to enjoy both viewing and lunch in one place.
