A seaside station located right beside Uozu Port, bustling with fresh seafood from Toyama Bay on display and dining establishments. At the famous beach-grilling corner, you can select fresh seafood and have it grilled on the spot, and the appetizing aroma is irresistible. Weekends often feature events and morning markets where you can feel the local energy. The coastline in front is known as a mirage observation spot, and on days when conditions align, you might encounter the mysterious sight of mirages floating on the spring sea.

Tips

Beachside grilling and restaurants tend to get busy during lunch hour, so arriving a bit early for lunch is more comfortable. Mirages only appear when weather conditions align, so approach your seaside stroll with a 'lucky if we see one' mindset. The parking lot is free and spacious.

Allow approximately 2 hours. Lunch around 11 a.m., before the crowds, is recommended.
