About this spot
A theme park featuring cacti and animals at the base of Omuro Mountain. Squirrel monkeys and peacocks roam freely throughout the garden, and children love encountering them unexpectedly along the paths. The famous capybaras can be hand-fed up close, and in winter, the sight of the "original capybara outdoor bath" where they relax is well-known. The pyramid-shaped greenhouse houses approximately 1,500 varieties of cacti and succulents from around the world, offering discoveries different from those with animals. There are plenty of hands-on experiences, such as boat tours that circle the pond to view the animals' islands up close.
Tips
The garden has gentle slopes and can be navigated with a stroller. Animal feeding and boat tours involve separate charges, so prepare small change for smoothness. Having lunch at the garden restaurant makes afternoon transfers easier. Wet wipes are convenient for hand washing after animal interaction.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes required. Morning is when animals are most active and a great time for interaction.
