A spectacular remote station standing alone at the tip of a peninsula jutting into Lake Sesso (接岨湖), known as the station floating on the lake. The train glides into the station across a red iron bridge spanning the emerald-green lake surface, and the view from the window alone is breathtaking. Walking along the path set beside the iron bridge takes you to a viewing spot on the opposite shore, looking down over the lake. The scenery woven together by the lake, the mountains, and the train makes a perfect backdrop for family photos.
Tips
The path to the viewing spot has many stairs, so a baby carrier is more reassuring than a stroller. Trains are infrequent, so be sure to check the departure time for your return train before setting off to explore. Wear comfortable walking shoes, as the ground can be slippery when wet.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour. On a sunny day, the lake's color is most vivid during the daytime.
