About this spot

A small coffee stand run just beside Shimonada Station. Coffee is carefully hand-dripped, one cup at a time, after you order, and you can enjoy it while looking out over the Iyo Sea. Carry your cup down to the beach, and you'll find yourself in a prime seat for the sunset. Coffee time spent watching the sky and sea slowly turn amber, and the sun sink slowly into the horizon, makes a fitting finale for this course. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the sound of the waves, and the person beside you who matters most, with nothing flashy about it at all, it's sure to become an unforgettable moment.

Tips

Since it's a small stand, opening days and hours can change, so it's reassuring to check social media or similar sources beforehand. Have cash ready for payment. The area around the station gets crowded around sunset, so it's a good idea to get your coffee a little early.

About 1 hour 15 minutes. Best around sunset, during the magic hour when the sky shifts from amber to indigo.
