The museum's greatest attraction is the display of an authentic taiko drum float actually used in the Niihama Taiko Festival. The elaborate gold and silver thread embroidery adorning the massive 5-meter-tall float is breathtakingly luxurious, and standing close by, you are overwhelmed by the intricate craftsmanship. The theater allows you to experience the festival's passion through high-impact video footage, letting you touch Niihama's spirit even outside festival season. The adjoining art museum hosts special exhibitions and collection displays, and the in-house café is perfect for reflecting on the day's exploration while taking a rest. Tips

Located right in front of JR Niihama Station, with nearby parking available for cars. The taiko float can be viewed from the floor looking upward, and viewing from the upper floor offers a clearer view of the embroidery details. Confirm closing time and café's last order before proceeding for peace of mind.
