A roadside station standing on the banks of the pristine Banjo River in Yayoi, Saiki City. True to Saiki's motto of "Fish from the world's and Japan's finest waters," the dining facilities serve popular seafood set meals and rice bowls featuring fish caught in the Bungo Channel, allowing you to savor authentic harbor-town flavors while surrounded by mountain scenery. The farm shop displays locally-harvested fresh vegetables and fruits, along with Saiki specialties and processed goods—an ideal spot for souvenir hunting. Tips

The dining area gets crowded during weekend lunch hours; arriving slightly earlier or later allows for a more leisurely experience. Popular fish dishes may sell out, so early ordering is advisable. A cooler bag is handy for carrying home fresh produce and seafood.
