A park developed on a hill overlooking Kirishima City's Kokubu district, where the observation deck provides panoramic views of the Kokubu Plain's streetscape, Kinko Bay, and the majestic Sakurajima. The grounds feature a mini Ferris wheel and go-karts, all available at reasonable prices. The view from the slowly rotating Ferris wheel's summit is particularly spectacular, perfect for a post-lunch stroll. With grassy areas and play equipment, families with small children can relax comfortably at this beloved local recreational spot. Tips
Admission is free, and rides are available at reasonable individual rates. Bring cash for ticket machines and payments. The walk to the observation deck involves slopes and stairs, so wear comfortable shoes. The hilltop can be windy, so bring a light jacket in cooler seasons.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour required. On clear afternoons, you can see Sakurajima's ridgeline distinctly.
