The riverside below the Arakawa Bridge that serves as the venue for the Kumagaya Fireworks Festival is a large-scale viewing area with expansive lawns and sandy areas. From evening onward, food stalls line up and the festive excitement builds. As the sun sets, the riverside becomes filled with spectators, so arriving early is key to securing a good spot. The evening along the river offers a wide sky where you can fully enjoy the color changes from orange to indigo. Spread out food stall meals or dinner you've brought along and leisurely wait for the fireworks to begin with the whole family.

熊谷花火大会は、荒川大橋下流の河畔から打ち上げられる埼玉県北部を代表する夏の花火大会です。広大な荒川の河川敷を会場に、夜空いっぱいに広がる大輪の花火が次々と開きます。障害物の少ない開けた河川敷からは花火が正面に大きく見え、音の迫力も格別。川面を渡る夜風の中、家族みんなで見上げる花火は夏の最高の思い出になります。フィナーレに向けて連続して打ち上がる花火が夜空を埋め尽くす瞬間は、この1日のクライマックスです。

Tips

開催時間や打ち上げ開始時刻は大会公式情報で必ず事前に確認してください(2026年の詳細は未発表のため変更の可能性があります)。荒天時の開催可否も公式発表で確認を。終了後は熊谷駅周辺と主要道路が大変混雑するため、フィナーレ後しばらく河川敷で休んでから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。

Tips

On the day of the fireworks festival, there are traffic restrictions and parking limitations, so public transportation is recommended. From Kumagaya Station to the venue is about a 20-25 minute walk, or use temporary shuttle buses. Temporary restrooms will be set up, but they become crowded in the evening, so use them early. Please take all trash with you.
