Kintetsu Ikoma Station is the central station of Ikoma City, where the Nara Line, Keihan'na Line, Ikoma Line, and Shigi Cableway Line converge. The station area is filled with restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores. On the evening of the fireworks festival, stalls and food vendors around the venue become crowded, making it wise to finish your dinner or light meal at the station area early. The station area also serves as your final supply point for purchasing drinks and snacks for the fireworks venue by takeout. As evening falls on the festival day, more people in yukata appear, and simply being in this area heightens the summer festival atmosphere.

高山竹林園に隣接するむかいやま公園は、いこまどんどこまつり納涼花火大会のメイン観覧エリアです。生駒の山並みに抱かれたこの公園から見上げる花火は、竹林の緑のシルエットと夜空のコントラストが美しく、山あいならではの静かな迫力があります。お祭りのにぎわいと自然が一体になった会場の雰囲気は、大都市の花火大会とはひと味違う生駒ならではの風情。1日かけて生駒山を登り、竹林を歩き、お祭りを楽しんだ夜のクライマックスにふさわしい時間です。花火の音が山に響く中、家族みんなで夜空を見上げる体験をお楽しみください。
