This is a general sports park in the Hongo district of Mihara City, equipped with a wide lawn plaza and various sports facilities. It is relatively close to the area downstream of Hongo Ohashi Bridge (本郷大橋), the fireworks venue, making it a convenient location for moving to the venue in the evening. Children can run around freely on the lawn while adults relax on benches or the grass. It is also a good place to do a final check of your belongings and plan how you'll lay out your leisure sheet ahead of the fireworks. As evening approaches, a cool breeze starts to blow, building anticipation as the fireworks display draws near.

Tips

On the evening of the fireworks display, the surrounding roads start to get congested. It is reassuring to head toward the venue early once it's past 5:00 p.m. Parking capacity may be limited, so check Mihara City's official announcements on parking information around the venue in advance.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 45 minutes. The time just before evening, as it starts to cool down, is great for playing freely.
