2026年7月31日(金)20時開演、新居浜市の夏を代表する花火大会です。国領川河川敷の平形橋北側から打ち上がる約8,000発は、スターマインや大玉の尺玉が次々と夜空を埋め尽くし、川面に映る光の揺らぎが水辺ならではの幻想的な情景を生み出します。打ち上げ場所が近く、花火の音が体に響く迫力は河川敷観覧ならでは。夏の夜の国領川を包む光と音の1時間は、家族の夏の記憶に深く刻まれる体験になるはずです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は新居浜市または大会の公式発表で当日確認を。終了直後は周辺道路と駐車場の出口が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後はその場でしばらく余韻を楽しみ、人の流れが落ち着いてから移動するのがおすすめです。帰路は足元が暗い場所もあるため、小さなライトを用意しておくと安心です。

From JR Niihama Station, approximately 5 minutes by car or about 15 minutes on foot. Admission is around 300 yen for adults (check the official website beforehand for current fees). The museum tends to be relatively quiet in the early afternoon, allowing for leisurely viewing. The next stop, Niihama Central Park, is just a few minutes away by car.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes required. During the summer daytime, it's recommended to spend time leisurely indoors where it's cooler than outside.
