Confirm on the day of the festival whether the event will be held in case of inclement weather by checking Niihama City or the official festival announcement. Immediately after the finale, the surrounding roads and parking lot exits become very congested. After the finale, it's recommended to stay in place for a while to savor the lingering impressions and move only after the flow of people has calmed. The path home may be dark in places, so bringing a small light is reassuring.
