Yonako Hama Park, one of the main venues for the Yonabaru Otsunaiki Festival, is a seaside park facing the east coast of Yonabaru Town. With sandy beach and grassy areas, it offers an open setting overlooking the calm East Coast sea and Nakijin Bay. By checking out the venue's atmosphere during the day, you'll get a better mental image of viewing spots for the evening. The park is relatively spacious, and children can play on the sand or cool off at the water's edge, making it ideal for a brief rest before evening. As evening approaches, food stalls and festival preparations begin, letting you experience the excitement leading up to the festival.

Tips

Located in the center of Yonabaru Town, easily accessible from National Route 329. Parking lot congestion intensifies from evening onward on festival day, so parking is still easy at this time. It's reassuring to check restroom locations during the day for nighttime peace of mind.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. Late afternoon, when the sun's glare subsides, is ideal for leisurely strolling.
