Once you've secured your spot, have a hearty dinner at the food stalls or with food you've brought. On fireworks festival day, food stalls line the lakeside with summer festival favorites such as yakisoba, karaage, and shaved ice. The sunset over the lower Ezutsu Lake is a beautiful time as the water's surface transforms gradually from orange to indigo. Enjoy your family meal while gazing at the color gradation of the sky visible across the lake. As 7:00 PM approaches, crowds around you increase, and an excited anticipation fills the entire venue. This time before the fireworks also becomes a cherished memory of the day.

Tips

Food stall meals may sell out around 7:00 PM, so purchasing during the 5 PM hour provides peace of mind. Convenience stores in the vicinity become extremely crowded in the evening. It's recommended to bring extra drinks. Apply insect repellent thoroughly during this time.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour 40 minutes required. Slowly enjoy the transformation of the sky's color from the lakeside sunset to nightfall.
