Standing in the center of Yurihonjo City, this is a hub for civic cultural exchange — a complex facility with a library, exhibition space, and hall. The lobby and rest areas are spacious, letting both children and adults relax comfortably in the air-conditioned interior. The permanent exhibition corner offers information on Yurihonjo City's history, culture, and nature, and also serves as a useful tourist information point. It's the perfect place to cool off on a hot afternoon before the fireworks festival while conserving your energy for the evening. Restrooms and vending machines inside are also handy for restocking before heading to the venue at night.

Tips

In the center of Yurihonjo City, near the ruins of Honjo Castle (本荘城跡, Koyoshi Park). It has plenty of shared spaces you can enter for free. Since the whole city gets crowded from the evening onward on the day of the fireworks festival, finishing your rest and preparations with time to spare during this period will make the evening go smoothly. It's about 20 minutes by car to Michikawa Fishing Port (道川漁港), heading south on National Route 7.
