The riverside green space stretching north and south of Ohdo Bridge spanning the Tone River is the main viewing area for the Maebashi Fireworks Festival. The expansive riverside lawns and embankments serve as seating, with a refreshing river breeze making it a comfortable venue. From late afternoon onward, lay out your leisure sheet, settle in, and enjoy the changing colors of the dusk landscape reflected on the water while awaiting the start. Sneakers are safer than sandals due to lingering daytime heat underfoot. Food stalls will be open, so grab light snacks if desired.

2026年8月8日(土)開催の前橋花火大会は、利根川河畔の大渡橋南北河川緑地を会場に、約15,000発が打ち上げられる北関東屈指の規模を誇る花火大会です。広い河川敷から遮るものなく夜空を見上げられるため、大輪の花火の迫力をダイレクトに体感できます。川面に映る花火の反射と、川を渡る夜風の心地よさは、河川花火大会ならではの魅力。スターマインや尺玉など多彩なプログラムが次々と展開され、フィナーレの連発は音も光も圧巻の迫力で夜空を埋め尽くします。夏の前橋の夜を代表する、忘れられない1時間です。

開催時間は例年変動するため、当日の公式情報を必ず確認してください。荒天時は中止または延期となる場合があります。終了後は会場周辺の道路が大変混雑し、バス・タクシーも捕まりにくくなります。余韻を楽しみながら人の流れが落ち着くのを待ってから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗くなるためライトを用意し、川沿いの段差に注意して歩きましょう。
