A white sand and blue pine beach spanning approximately 7 km, registered as a component asset of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Mount Fuji." Walking through the pine forest of approximately 30,000 connected pines, you become enveloped in a distinctive quietness where the sound of waves and pine breeze blend together. Emerging from the pine forest onto the beach, a magnificent view unfolds with Mount Fuji standing majestically beyond Suruga Bay. The "Hagoromo no Matsu" (Heavenly Maiden's Pine), said to be where a celestial maiden hung her feather robe, is the symbol of Miho no Matsubara and a classic photo spot. Observing the sea in the direction where tonight's fireworks will rise helps create an even more impressive contrast with the nighttime scenery.

日本平ホテル野外庭園を会場に開催される、2026年7月22日(水)の日本平まつり大花火ショーです。打上数は約10,000発、19時15分から20時00分までの45分間にわたって駿河湾の夜空を彩ります。駿河湾を見渡す高台からの眺めは開放感が抜群で、海を背景に打ち上がる大輪の花火は迫力と美しさが格別です。清水港の夜景の上に咲き乱れる光の饗宴は、まさに日本平ならではの絶景。フィナーレの連発が夜空を埋め尽くす瞬間に、この1日のすべての感動が重なります。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式発表で当日確認してください。終了後は日本平からの下山道と周辺道路が大変混雑します。花火終了後しばらく庭園内で余韻を楽しんでから、落ち着いた頃に帰路につくと安心です。帰りのバス・車の時刻と混雑は必ず事前に計画しておきましょう。足元が暗くなるので、スマホのライトや小型懐中電灯があると便利です。

About 15 minutes by bus from Esprit Dream Plaza. Free parking available. Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on sandy paths. Strong summer sun, so don't forget a hat and sunscreen. Hagoromo no Matsu is near Miho Shirube (Miho Pine Grove World Heritage Guidance Facility), where you can learn about the history of Miho before exploring for a richer experience.
