A colossal rock rising majestically from the sea, beloved as Makurazaki's symbol, viewable from near Hinokami Park. The columnar rock thrusting powerfully from the water's surface commands impressive presence, representing one of southern Satsuma's iconic coastal landscapes. Gazing at Tatsugami Rock from wave-swept shores, with the azure East China Sea spreading behind, yields excellent photography. Easily reached on foot from Hinokami Park or a short drive away, it's best enjoyed as part of a park exploration. The sea's color in summer's softening late afternoon light holds incomparable beauty.

Tips
荒天時の開催可否は枕崎市・大会公式の発表で事前に確認してください。終了後は周辺道路と駐車場が一斉に混み合うため、フィナーレ後はその場でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから動き出す時間差帰宅がおすすめです。帰路の道路状況に備え、帰宅ルートを事前に確認しておきましょう。
Tips
Just a short walk from Hinokami Park, or a few minutes by car. Sea spray may reach the shoreline, so watch your footing. Avoid approaching rock formations too closely; appreciate them from safe viewing positions. From here to the Makurazaki Port area is approximately 10-15 minutes by car.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour required. Late afternoon when sunlight reflects beautifully off the water offers the most scenic moment.
