Tango Kingdom "Miyako no Shokumisato" is a popular Kyotango spot featuring agricultural products direct sales, restaurants, and green lawns spread across a large area. You can enjoy meals using locally-grown vegetables and Tango regional ingredients, perfect for refueling before swimming. There's also a playground outdoors where children can play, allowing you to move around a bit after eating before heading to the beach. It's about 15 minutes by car to the beach, making it convenient as a rest stop between morning sightseeing and afternoon swimming.

浜詰夕日ヶ浦海水浴場は京丹後市を代表する海水浴場のひとつで、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月16日(日)まで、9時から17時の遊泳時間で開設されます。透明感のある海と広い砂浜が魅力で、シャワー(水は無料・温水は有料)、トイレ、脱衣所に加えて浜店が3店舗、BBQエリアも用意されており、家族連れが1日過ごしやすい設備が整っています。遊泳は無料で、駐車場は普通車1日2,000円。名前の由来にもなった夕日ヶ浦の海は、午後の日差しの中でも美しい青さが際立ち、波打ち際での水遊びから沖に向かっての遊泳まで、思い思いのスタイルで夏を満喫できます。

Tips

遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで16時45分ごろには切り上げるのがおすすめです。シャワーは水のみ無料で、温水を使う場合は有料です。浜店ではBBQの利用もできるので、事前に予約や持ち込みルールを確認しておくとスムーズです。夏の砂浜は熱くなるのでビーチサンダルを忘れずに。
