A towering rocky outcrop approximately 20 meters high standing offshore from Yura Beach, long cherished as a scenic landmark of the region due to its majestic appearance. Located on the Yura seaside, known as the legendary stage of the tale of Anjū and Zushiō, you can view the rock's impressive form up close from the sandy beach. After enjoying the rock's power while walking along the shoreline, have a meal at a nearby restaurant, then head to Kanzaki Beach in the afternoon. The sight of the sea right before you will heighten your anticipation for the afternoon's swimming.

京都府舞鶴市の由良川河口近く、若狭湾に面した海水浴場で、2026年は7月1日(水)から8月31日(月)まで開設されます。遊泳は無料で、波が穏やかで遠浅な砂浜は小さな子ども連れでも安心して楽しめます。トイレと冷水シャワーは無料で利用でき、浜茶屋では有料の温水シャワーも用意されているので、砂を落としてから帰る際に便利です。駐車場は約1,500台分と広く用意されており、繁忙期でも比較的停めやすいのがうれしいポイント。リアス式海岸に囲まれた若狭湾の美しい景色を眺めながら、夕方までゆっくり海遊びを満喫できます。

Tips
