About this spot
A prefectural urban park spreading near the centre of Tamano City (玉野市), popular with families for the lawns, playground equipment and boat landing arranged around a large pond. The lakeside path makes for an unhurried stroll, and the broad lawns give children room to move about freely. Ringed by trees, the grounds stay relatively comfortable even in summer, making this just the place for a play and a stretch before the beach. There are plenty of benches and rest areas too, so it also suits a family breather.

岡山県玉野市に位置する渋川海水浴場は、2026年は7月11日(土)から8月23日(日)まで開設されます。遊泳は無料で、シャワーや手荷物預かりが利用できる海の家に加え、ウォーターパークも設置されるなど、家族連れが1日たっぷり楽しめる設備が揃っています。駐車場は約493台分と広く、1時間100円・1日上限1,000円で利用可能。瀬戸内海らしい穏やかな波の中、波打ち際での水遊びから浮き輪遊びまで、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫できます。

The car park is large, which makes it convenient to stop by. The boats on the pond can be hired for a fee and are popular with children if you have time. If you are calling in before the beach, keeping it to about an hour leaves plenty of room in the afternoon schedule.
