About this spot

Located right next to JR Iyoshi Station, this is Iyo City's hub for tourism and local products. Housed in a merchant-style building reminiscent of the old Nada-machi townscape, it offers locally grown vegetables and fruit, fresh fish landed in the city, bonito flakes, and local delicacies, along with a cafe, bakery, general store, and tourist information center. The courtyard park plaza has a terrace where you can rest or eat. Early in the morning there are still few visitors, making it easy to walk around even with children. Stop by to soak up Iyo City's old-town atmosphere before heading to the sea.

Tips

A short walk from both Gunchu-ko Station (Iyotetsu Railway) and JR Iyoshi Station. It's best to stop by in the morning before the summer sun gets strong. Pick up drinks and ice here to take to the beach so you're not scrambling once you get there.

Best time to visit

About 45 minutes. It's calm and easy to walk around right after opening, around 10am
